A note from our founder

RIOT started with a simple feeling: I couldn't find what I was looking for.

I was living in Los Angeles and working as a model, surrounded by fashion, but I kept seeing the same version of a woman reflected back at me. The same bodies. The same fit. The same idea of what was considered beautiful.

I didn't see myself in it. And I didn't see a lot of the women around me either.

I had no background in fashion or entrepreneurship. I didn't go to fashion school or business school. I just knew there had to be room for something different.

So I created it.

RIOT began with swimwear designed to make women feel confident without asking them to become someone else first. Pieces that considered the body wearing them. Pieces that felt sexy, effortless and actually wearable.

Ten years later, that idea hasn't changed. RIOT has just grown with the women who wear it.

Today, we're building beyond swim.

The swimsuit you keep reaching for.
The dress that works without overthinking it.
The pieces you pack together, wear together and make your own.

We're creating a wardrobe for warm days, trips, dinners, everyday life and wherever you're going next. Swim will always be part of who we are. Now, we're building the rest of the look around it.

Because the best pieces aren't the ones you wear once. They're the ones that become part of your life.
