Everything you need to know about shipping and delivery.


Order Processing

Orders placed by 12pm CST are typically processed and shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 12pm CST, on weekends, or on holidays will begin processing the following business day.

In some cases, processing may be delayed if we need to verify order details. If that happens, our team will reach out as quickly as possible.

During sale periods and new drops, processing times may be slightly delayed due to increased order volume.

Our fulfillment center will be closed on the following dates:

  • Juneteenth National Independence Day – Friday, June 19
  • Independence Day – observed Friday, July 3 (holiday falls Saturday, July 4)
  • Labor Day – Monday, September 7

Orders will not be processed or shipped on these dates. Any orders placed during a closure will begin processing the next business day.

Shipping Timelines

Once your order has shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimated by the carrier and may occasionally shift due to weather, transit delays, customs processing, or carrier scanning updates.

Once a shipment has been transferred to the carrier, RIOT no longer has operational control over the package or transit timeline.


Shipping Options

Free ground shipping is available on qualifying domestic orders over $200. Please note that free ground shipping is not available during promotional events.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently do not ship to PO Boxes. A valid physical address is required for all orders.

We ship worldwide, though some locations may be unavailable due to carrier restrictions. If we're unable to ship to your selected location, our team will contact you with next steps.


Address Accuracy

Please double check all shipping information before placing your order. If a package is delivered to the address entered at checkout, we're unable to offer a replacement or refund for incorrectly entered shipping information.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, we'll do our best to make it right. You can choose to have your order reshipped for an additional shipping fee, or receive a refund with a 20% restocking fee applied to cover return handling costs.


Order Changes and Cancellations

Orders begin processing quickly, so changes or cancellations are not guaranteed once an order has been placed. This includes updates to shipping addresses, billing information, items in your cart, or promo codes.

If you contact us immediately after placing your order, we'll always do our best to help.


Preorders

If your order includes a preorder item, please allow 3 to 5 business days for shipment after the estimated release date.

Preorder dates are estimates and subject to change. Orders containing preorder items will ship once all items become available unless otherwise stated.


Checkout+

The easiest way to shop RIOT. Checkout+ includes free returns and exchanges on eligible items plus package protection if your order is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.

No Checkout+? Returns are still accepted under our standard policy, but a $12 charge will apply toward the cost of the return label. Packages shipped without Checkout+ are not protected against loss, theft, or damage.

If Checkout+ is added to a final sale order, package protection still applies. Final sale items remain ineligible for returns or exchanges regardless.

Without Checkout+, packages are not protected against loss, theft, or damage once they leave our warehouse. RIOT is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contactus@riotswim.com and include:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the item
  • A photo of the hangtag
  • Front and back photos of the poly bag your item arrived in

We'll take care of it as quickly as possible.


International Orders and Customs

International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, import fees, or carrier processing fees required by their destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping fees collected by RIOT.

If an international order is refused or returned due to unpaid customs charges, a return shipping fee will be deducted to cover carrier return costs. The remaining balance will be issued as store credit once the package has been returned to us. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

We recommend monitoring your tracking closely and contacting your local customs office if needed to avoid delays or additional charges.

EU Right of Withdrawal:
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to withdraw from many contracts within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason.

Please note that under Article 14(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. A prepaid label will be provided through our withdrawal portal; the label cost will be deducted from your refund.

We will issue your refund within fourteen (14) days of receiving notification of your cancellation, or, if later, once we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that the goods have been shipped back to us.

This right applies to all items purchased through our store, with certain exceptions such as digital products, perishable goods, sealed personal hygiene products, and personalized items, as set forth in Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU.
